Payment Plans with Yoga x Life Retreats

Yoga x Life Retreats also offers limited in‑house payment plans for guests who prefer to spread the cost directly with us. All in‑house instalment plans must be agreed in writing and are customised case by case, with clear dates and amounts set out at the time of booking. The full retreat balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the retreat start date; if payments are not received on time and no alternative has been agreed, we reserve the right to treat the booking as a cancellation under our standard policy, and your place may be released. At the time of booking, you’ll see the payment options available for that retreat (for example, pay in full, pay deposit plus balance, or request an in‑house instalment plan, subject to approval).

All deposits are non‑refundable, and any payments made towards your retreat (including instalments) become non‑refundable once paid, except where we are required to offer a refund under our own cancellation terms or applicable consumer law.

If you need a longer repayment period that extends closer to or beyond the retreat dates, we are not able to offer this through our own instalment plans. In those cases, you may wish to explore external “buy now, pay later” options such as Klarna or Clearpay at checkout, where available, as these allow you to complete full payment to us upfront as necessary to run the while continuing to pay your provider over time in line with their terms and conditions

Paying in instalments with Klarna and Clearpay

To make our retreats more accessible, we offer the option to pay in instalments at checkout using Klarna and Clearpay (subject to eligibility). These services allow you to spread the cost of your booking over time, while we receive the full amount upfront.

How Klarna works

  • At checkout, eligible customers will see Klarna as a payment option alongside card payments.

  • When you choose Klarna, you’ll be redirected to Klarna’s secure site to select your preferred plan (for example, “Pay in 3” or “Pay in 30 days”), subject to Klarna’s terms, credit checks, and approval.​

  • Once you complete the steps with Klarna, you’ll be returned to our website to confirm your order.

  • You then make your payments directly to Klarna according to their schedule. Any questions about instalments, late fees, or limits must be directed to Klarna.​

Please note:

  • Klarna availability and specific products offered depend on your location, order value, and Klarna’s own eligibility criteria.​

  • Klarna is available for eligible one‑off purchases only.​

How Clearpay works

  • Clearpay (also known as Afterpay in some regions) lets you “buy now, pay later” by splitting your payment into four interest‑free instalments, usually over six to eight weeks.​

  • At checkout, select Clearpay as your payment method. You’ll be redirected to Clearpay to log in or create an account and review your instalment schedule.​

  • When you complete your purchase, we receive the full retreat payment upfront, and you pay Clearpay over time.

  • Eligibility is determined by Clearpay, including spending limits and country restrictions (for UK customers, order values generally need to be above £1 and below £1,000).​

Important notes about instalment payments

  • Your retreat booking is considered confirmed once we receive the successful order confirmation from Squarespace/Stripe via Klarna or Clearpay. Our usual Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy apply to all bookings, regardless of payment method.

  • If you miss an instalment with Klarna or Clearpay, this is managed directly between you and the payment provider. Late fees and any impact on your credit are governed by their Terms & Conditions, not by us.

  • If your retreat is cancelled by us and a refund is due, the refund will be processed back through Squarespace/Stripe to Klarna or Clearpay, who will update your instalment plan or return any amounts already paid, in line with their policies.

  • If you cancel your place, our Cancellation Policy applies. Any refund amount will be returned via the original payment method, which may mean an adjustment of your payment plan with Klarna or Clearpay.
