PRACTICAL GUIDE
What to pack for your yoga retreat
A few comfortable things, the essentials for being outdoors and room in your bag for the things you find along the way. You do not need a whole new wardrobe to come on retreat.
This is a starting point for our Ibiza and Morocco retreats. Your own retreat information takes priority, especially for practice equipment, transfers and the activities included.
Start with the days you will be having
Think about moving, resting, walking and sharing meals. Choose clothes that feel good to practise in, then add easy layers for time between sessions. An extra warm layer is useful for early mornings and evenings; check the forecast shortly before travelling.
Your core packing list
Comfortable practice clothes, with enough changes for your stay.
A warm layer and socks for quieter sessions and evenings.
Comfortable shoes for walks, plus sandals or easy footwear for the villa.
Swimwear, a cover-up, sun hat and sunglasses.
Your usual sun protection and toiletries.
A refillable water bottle and a small day bag.
A notebook, pen and something you would enjoy reading.
Phone charger and the travel adaptor appropriate to your destination.
Any personal medication and the items you normally rely on when travelling.
Travel documents, insurance details, booking confirmation and our contact information, saved somewhere you can reach without mobile data.
For Ibiza
Our setting outside Sant Joan gives you time among the pines, by the pool and in the village. Pack for both practice and relaxed time outdoors. Comfortable walking shoes will be more useful than an outfit you can only wear once.
For Rooted, bring layers you enjoy resting in. For Reset, choose clothing that lets you move freely and leave room for your included take-home training kit. For Ayurvedic Cleanse, bring comfortable clothing for immersive practice, oil self-massage and restorative sessions. We will confirm any programme-specific items before travel.
For Morocco
Desert Awakening includes yoga, a camel ride and a day in Marrakech. Bring comfortable footwear for uneven ground and walking through the souks. Loose layers and a light scarf give you flexibility for sun, wind and changing temperatures, as well as visits away from the retreat venue.
A small day bag is useful for water and essentials on outings. Leave a little space if you enjoy treasure hunting in the souks. Check the current forecast and official destination advice before you finalise your packing.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
Check your specific retreat information before packing a mat or props. Equipment arrangements vary by programme, and there is no need to fill your bag with things already provided. If you have a favourite item that helps you practise comfortably, ask us whether it is worth bringing.
Three things to check before you leave
Confirm your arrival time and whether your flight fits the scheduled group transfer. Included transfers run only between the airport and retreat venue around the stated arrival and checkout times. Other locations and times require your own transport.
Check your room choice, balance arrangements and any dietary information you need to share with us.
Read the final retreat information and current official travel guidance for your own passport and circumstances.
Not sure about an item?
Ask us before you travel. If you are still choosing your time away, explore the retreat calendar.
