San Juan de Labritja

Ibiza

Ibiza offers a unique blend of Mediterranean light, wild coastline, and tranquil interior that makes it a powerful setting for retreat work. With warm, sunny weather for much of the year and softer, quieter seasons in spring and autumn, it’s an ideal climate for early-morning practices, sunset sessions, and time in nature. Beyond its famous nightlife, the island has a long-standing reputation as a haven for spiritual seekers, artists, and healers, with many gatherings centred around yoga, meditation, ceremony, and conscious living.

Today, Ibiza hosts a rich calendar of yoga and spiritual events, from intimate retreats in rural fincas to holistic programs that weave movement, sound, and ritual. Many of these take place in landscape that feels both grounding and expansive; secluded beaches, pine-covered hills, and sea-view terraces that naturally support reflection and emotional release. This combination of accessible travel, gentle climate, and vibrant yet laid-back spiritual culture makes Ibiza a strong base for retreats that balance depth, rest, and play.

Ubud & Canggu

Indonesia

Bali, often called the “Island of the Gods,” holds a living spiritual tradition that infuses daily life, from temple ceremonies to simple offerings placed outside each home. The island’s tropical climate, warm temperatures, lush greenery, and distinct dry and rainy seasons creates a fertile backdrop for year-round yoga practice, whether in open-air shalas overlooking rice fields or quiet spaces tucked into the jungle. Balinese Hinduism, with its focus on devotion, ritual, and harmony between the seen and unseen, offers a rich context for contemplative work and deep inner listening.

As one of the world’s best-known destinations for yoga and meditation, Bali attracts teachers and seekers from across the globe, creating a diverse and engaged practice community. Retreats here often integrate asana, pranayama, and meditation with temple visits, purification rituals, and time in nature, so that cultural immersion and spiritual exploration unfold alongside the formal practice. For many, this layered experience; sacred landscape, warm climate, and living spiritual lineage, makes Bali an especially resonant place to reset, learn, and reconnect with purpose.

Our Founder

Meet Debbie

Debbie’s journey began in the world of science and healing, working as a neuro-physiotherapist where she witnessed the body’s innate intelligence and resilience. Over the years, her lifelong yoga practice became both refuge and compass, guiding her deeper into the connection between movement, emotion, and spirit.

Her path led her to study shamanic traditions with her teacher Esther and the Q’ero lineage of the Andes, where she learned to listen to energy, ritual, and the unseen threads that weave life together.

Through Yoga X Life Retreats, Debbie brings these worlds together; science and soul, movement and meaning, in experiences that invite people to soften, remember, and reconnect with the essence of life itself.
